It is very cool to see this club. I am enjoying the art, and am happy there are dedicated artists keeping tradition alive. I am a huge fan of ancient illumination and calligraphy, and look forward to visiting here often. Here's to the future work...

ahhh i just remembered my design fundamentals teacher in college telling me that my sizing was always wrong, that all my work was always way to big for the medium. pfffftttttttt..... :)

typically size :) lettering on paper is usually pretty small in comparison to even the smallest of graffiti works.. and I think that size is one of the aspects that gives graffiti that flavor.. the sheer space to develop as branch of an art form not confined by paper and huge pens and the freedom of the medium.

okie dokie, sounds good. so when you say that graffiti is the caligraphy of scale, do you mean...letter proportion? size? perspective? it sounds very intriguing.

since i suppose i should say a bit more .... this is what a friend had to say about the link:

The British Library has a page where you can look at original manuscripts using Flash. Included are Jane Austen's History of England, Blake's notebook, Lenoardo's sketch book, and Mozart's musical diary.
